Do you have a Flip-Pal mobile scanner, and have recently (or are due to soon), update your Mac computer? I’m writing this as a number of customers who have had a Flip-Pal Mobile Scanner for years, have recently updated their Mac, and have then found that they were unable to use their Flip-Pal with it. At least it didn’t intially.
Flip-Pal have come now to the party, and have a ‘fix’ of the Toolbox software that will work on Catalina (Mac OS 10.15), but unfortunately it cannot be downloaded, so it requires you to purchase a new SD card with the software pre-installed.
They say …
The 64-bit version of the Flip-Pal Toolbox software that is compatible with the Catalina (and later) releases of Mac OS, can not be packaged into a ZIP file that passes Apple’s security for downloads. That leaves one option – to order a new SD card with the software preinstalled.
