With a growing user base of Legacy Family Tree in Australia, there have been a number of User Groups start up, and today I’m pleased to announce that Canberra now has a Legacy User Group too.

Thanks to the Computer Special Interest Group (SIG) which is a group within the Heraldry and Genealogy Society of Canberra, they have set up a Legacy Users Group comprising of HAGSOC members who use, intend to use or want to know more about the Legacy family history program. So if you are in Canberra and are interested in learning more about Legacy, sharing your experiences or just need help solving a problem, feel free to join them.

If you are new to the program, attending a User Group meeting can be very informative, both in finding out the program’s capabilities, and how to find out how to use it, and ultimately will save you a whole lot of time in learning by yourself.

The meetings in Canberra will be held on at 7.30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the HAGSOC Library in the Cook Community Hub, 41 Templeton St, Cook, ACT.

Meetings for this year are scheduled for:
Tuesday 13 November 2012
Tuesday 11 December 2012

You might like to keep an eye on the HAGSOC Calendar page on thier website for info on topics closer to the date.
