The South Australian History Fund (SAHF) is an annual grant that is offered by the History Trust of South Australian, aimed at supporting the production and sharing of South Australia’s History, and total funding available has grown to $50,000 this year.
We’re excited to announce that the 2017-18 SAHF grants are now open for applications.
Funding is available for History grants (up to $5000) and as well as Training & Development grants (up to $500).
Applications for History grants and Training & Development grants are invited from incorporated community organisations and local government. Individual and professional historians, tertiary institutions or other organisations may apply for funding for publications and research.
So if you, your group or organisation are working on a South Australian history related digitisation project, or need equipment, would like signage for a display you’re creating. Need funds for an oral history project or publication, or even a research project, why not think about applying for a grant?
Applications close Tuesday 25 July 2017
Guidelines and application forms for the SAHF are available online, and you’re welcome to contact the History Trust to discuss potential applications, to check your eligibility to apply, and to request guidelines or application forms to be sent to you either by post or electronically.

Hello, could you please email me grant application and guidelines for SAHF. I am having trouble downloading them.
If you want more information, or a printed copy of the form, you’ll need to get in touch with History SA themselves. Their email and phone number are on the bottom of the blog post above.
