Back in November 2019 the call for submissions to Victorian Local History Grants went out. Held annual since 2001, this is allows community groups and organisations who are looking at preserving Victoria’s history in numerous ways, to apply for a grant of up to $15.000 to help with their project.

The recipients of the 2019-20 Victorian Local History Grants have just been announced, and this year 53 community groups share in over $330,000. The projects vary from archiving, digitising, storage, apps, publications, website, signage, heritage trail, oral and video histories and more.
