Calling those with an interest in Irish history, family history and genealogy! Develop your family history skills with the Master’s degree History of Family, and study online at the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Enrolments are now open for the MA History of Family, with the course commencing in September 2020. The course can be studied full-time over a year, or part-time over two years.
This is a unique course that offers students afrom ll over the world the chance to learn more about Irish history and family history, and who would like to take their genealogy research a stage further and study towards a Master’s degree.
A key attraction of the course is the wide range of topics covered. These include families and migration, families and communities, andIrish cultural history, as well as academic riting and advanced research skills.
The course is delivered both on-campus and online. The course has been running for a number of years now, and had attracted students from around the world including Australia, America, Canada and the UK. Online students interact with colleagues in Ireland via audio-conference and through the University of Limerick’s virtual learning environment.
