Australia is home to the third-largest population of Irish migrants … and based on the 2011 census, there were about 2 million people, or 10 percent of the population, who said they were of Irish descent. And then there’s more who are, but just having discovered it yet!!

St Patrick’s Day is coming up, and MyHeritage are celebrating all things Irish by giving everyone FREE ACCESS to 14 million Irish records.

So, if you’re still hunting for your Emeral Isle connection, and haven’t looked on MyHeritage, (or at least not recently), give it a go, and see. You may well find them.
