Writing the Family Saga provides you with an opportunity to develop key skills for writing fiction and/or non-fiction based on genealogical records. You will learn about crafting and polishing engaging and readable multigenerational family history narratives.

The “Writing the Family Saga” course is an online course held by the University of Tasmania (UTAS). This six week course runs from Monday 2 March 2020 through until Friday 17 April 2020.
The last date to register for this course is Friday, 28 February 2020.
On completion of the course you will be able to:
– Use a wide range of techniques for writing narratives based on your genealogical research.
– Write constructive feedback to help other student writers to improve their draft narrative.
– and act on feedback received to improve your own writing.
And once completed, the opportunity exists to undertake further units within the Diploma of Family History.
