Did you hear the news? Our beloved Trove is changing … and it’ll be bigger and better than ever. But before it goes live, the awesome Trove team are letting us all preview it, and check it out.

The preview is open from 14 February 2020, 10am AEST, through until 24 February 2020, 5pm AEST, and anyone who visits the Trove wesbite can check it out.

They write …

“We’re giving you a chance to look at the upgraded version of Trove while it is still under construction.

Use the green banner on the Trove homepage to get into the Trove Preview. Once you have finished exploring, the yellow banner on the Trove Preview homepage returns you to current Trove.

All the content you know and love is still in Trove, with new collections being added all the time.

This is your chance to being getting comfortable with the new features and design. We;re hoping the new version of Trove will make it easier for more Australians to find what they’re looking for in Trove.

There’s a new design and dynamic homepage to explore. More content is available to tell you what’s new, how to use Trove and how to get the best from Trove searches.

Our digitised news papers and GovernmentGazettes look very similiar to current Trove. Search, browse, view, download and text correct to your heart’s content. Some colours have changes, but it works much the same way.

All the current content is available in this demonstration version of Trove. There are just new ways to get to it. The upgraded website will launch in mid-2020.”
