The big genealogy conference in the southern hemisphere (well, covering Australia and New Zealand anyway) is Congress, which is held once every three years. And while 2018 seems A-G-E-S away, planning for the next one, which is being held in Sydney, is well underway already.
It was a few months ago that the call was put out speakers (those near and far) to submit their talks if they’d like to visit Sydney and speak at Congress. This is just a reminder that the deadline to get your talks in by is 31 October 2016. So if you are planning on submitting a talk to two for Congress, please don’t delay, as you only have two weeks left to get them in.
When: Friday 9 – Monday 12 March 2018
Where: International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour, Sydney
Hosted by: Society of Australian Genealogists under the auspices of AFFHO (Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations)
