Back in March 2013 the National Library of Australia announced that their Community Grants were open for submission (you can see the original post here). The grants of up to $15,000 were available to community groups around the country to help preserve and manage locally held, nationally significant cultural heritage collections of documents and objects for future generations. Projects supported include significance assessments, preservation needs assessments, conservation activities and collection management.
Well, now they’ve announced the recipients of the 78 grants that have been awarded. These come to a total of $425,684.
