Australians are in love with watching family history on TV, and “Who Do You Think You Are?” has captured the interest of so many, that the program has now been renewed for a 5th Season.
Screen Australia has approved funding for a number of documentaries including the 5th Season of “Who Do You Think You Are?” for SBS.
With Seasons 1-3 having already aired in Australia, we’ve watched as Ben Mendelsohn, Catherine Freeman, Christine Anu, Dennis Cometti, Geoffrey Robertson, Georgie Parker, Ita Buttrose, Jack Thompson, John Butler, Kate Cebrano, Magda Szubanski, Maggie Beer, Paul Mercurio, Rod Marsh, Ron Barassi, Shane Bourne, Sigrid Thornton, Tina Arena have all gone in search of their heritage.
Season 4 is expected to air later in the year, and now we can say that Season 5 IS COMING!!! This is GREAT news for family history in Australia.
