Highways and Byways in Wiltshire – DATA CD – $24.00
The original publication of the Highways and Byways in Wiltshire contains more than 450 printed pages, including a map of the county showing the routes taken by the author, Edward Hutton, who chose a number of circular routes that took him to the four corners of Wiltshire, and almost 90 pen and ink illustrations by Nelly Erichsen, providing as with all of the Highways and Byways series a wonderful mix of topography, local history and folklore, which perhaps more than ever allows the reader to rediscover parts of Britain that have long disappeared under a morass of concrete, bypasses and motorways.

Ireland

History of the Irish Brigades in the Service of France – DATA CD – $33.00
The History of the Irish Brigades in the Service of France from the Revolution in Great Britain and Ireland under James II, to the Revolution in France under Louis XVI was written by John Cornelius O’Callaghan, completed in January 1869 and published in London.

Royal Irish Constabulary Manual 1909 – DATA CD – $16.00
While the first code of regulations for the Royal Irish Constabulary had been published in 1837, the year after the service had been reorganised, it was not until 1866 the a complete manual was issued, entitled The Royal Irish Constabulary Manual; or Guide to the Discharge of Police Duties. The preface to this was written by J. Stewart Wood, Inspector General of the Constabulary Force in Ireland and in this Wood noted that while it was impossible to anticipate every event and and difficulty a policeman might encounter while attempting to discharge his duty, the Constabulary Manual would afford many of the answers to many of the questions and be suggestive of others.

History of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland – DATA CD – $48.00
First published in three volumes between 1834 and 1853 and republished here on fully-searchable CD-ROM are the first editions of James Seaton Reid’s monumental publication, the History of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. In total the three volumes contain more than 1,600 printed pages and are accompanied by an appendix to each volume consisting of various original documents. The third volume was incomplete at the time of Seaton Reid’s death and was subsequently completed by his successor, Professor of Ecclesiastical History and Pastoral Theology for the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, W. D. Killeen.
