Now in its third year, the 2010 Regional Museums Award attracted just over 100 entries from museums in every Australian state and territory. Richmond River Historical Society – based in Lismore, New South Wales – has won the ABC Regional Museums Award in Australia.

‘City of Adelaide’ Clipper to Return from Scotland

At 145 years old, the City of Adelaide is the oldest surviving clipper. After making 23 voyages from London to South Australia in the 1800s, the ship has been sitting in Scotland in a shipyard for years. It is now set to make its way back to South Australia one more time – this for for good.
