More Old Newspapers Added to Trove

Since the National Library of Australia started digitising the old newspapers back in July 2008 and putting them online, they just keep geting better and better. Launched with over 3 million articles, the Trove website now gives users access to over 12 million pages from over 650 Australian newspapers, with more historical newspapers and articles added regularly.

Learn With Genealogy Webinars in 2014

Webinars. They are slowly getting known, but I still think a lot of people don’t actually know what a Webinar is. In short, it in a seminar or presentation that you watch on your computer. You can watch it live at a specified time, or later through YouTube or a similar viewing program. In terms of genealogy think of them like video tutorials, and with the topics covered you could do almost all of your genealogy training online through watching webinars.
