If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you’ll be pleased to know that Momondo together with AncestryDNA are running their DNA Journey competition again.
Momondo says that it’s time to discover that there are more things uniting us than dividing us. “There would quite likely be a lot less extremism in the world if people knew their heritage. We truly are children of the world, and not of a ‘pure race’.” #LetsOpenOurWorld
The DNA Journey competition is divided into two phases. In the first phase you have a chance of winning a DNA kit. If you win a DNA kit, you can take part in phase two where you have the chance to win a trip to explore your diversity.
Can I enter?
To enter you must be over 18 years of age, and be a resident of Australia.
PHASE 1 – 30 x AncestryDNA Kits (value AUD$149 each)
To enter to WIN an AncestryDNA kit all you have to do is tell Momondo in 250 characters or less “how you will open the world through travelling”. Be as creative as you want – as they love to be inspired! You can type your entry directly into the form on their website here. If you are one of the 30 lucky winners, you are then eligible to enter Phase 2 of the competition. Entries close 3 May 2017 at 10:00 CEST.
PHASE 2 – 1 x journey of your life (value AUD$2000)
If you were one of the lucky winners of a AncestryDNA kit in Phase 1, you are eligible to enter Phase 2. To enter Phase 2 when you get your DNA results, simply shoot a short video (less that 5 minutes) of how you react to getting your results, and seeing where you’re from – who knows what emotions you’ll capture! Your video is your ticket to winning a journey of your life: a trip to visit a country from where your ancestors came from. Phase 2 commences at 10:00 CEST on 3 May 2017, and ends on 3 August 2017 10:00 CEST.
