In eight months time a number of our Unlock the Past staff, together with an excited bunch of family history, history and military historians will be onboard the Pacific Aria cruise ship heading towards Milne Bay for an incredible trip to Papua New Guinea.

Their 13th history and genealogy cruise, this 10 night cruise sails from Brisbane, Queensland on 28 July 2017, and heads north to Papua New Guinea, taking in Milne Bay, Rabaul and several other islands in the region before heading back down south arriving in Brisbane again on 7 August 2017.

This cruise had proved incredibly popular, and despite it still being about 8 months away, the ship is 95% booked out already, so there are only limited cabins are still available.

If you are intending on going, DO NOT DELAY. Get in touch with Ciaran at Clean Cruising (our cruise booking agent) as soon as you can. He’ll be able to advise you what cabins are still available, and at what price.

As with all of Unlock the Past cruises, they will be holding a history and genealogy conference onboard the ship. It is expected that there will be around 40 talks scheduled, including a special Pacific war stream lead by Dr Tom Lewis. The sea days are when the conference program is scheduled, and you simply pick and choose what talks you’d like to go to. The shore days are yours to go off and sightsee.
